Sessions are held virtually to allow clients to be home and still get the care they need for themselves. Clients must be located in Texas at the time of each session.
Frequently Asked Questions
(because we all were wondering)
What is the process to get started?
First, you would schedule a free 15-minute intro call where we assess fit, fees, and availability. If we are a strong fit, then I will send paperwork and schedule an intake according to our availabilities.
How do I know how much my insurance covers?
You can verify your mental health benefits by contacting your insurance provider directly or using the link above to check your out-of-network benefits. Call the Member Services number listed on the back of your insurance card.

When you call, consider asking the following questions:
• Do I have out-of-network outpatient mental health benefits?
• Are these benefits available for telehealth sessions?
• What is my out-of-network deductible?
• How much of my deductible has already been met this year?
• Do I need a referral from an in-network provider to see an out-of-network therapist?
• What percentage of outpatient psychotherapy is covered per session?
• What is the reimbursement amount for a 60-minute psychotherapy session (CPT code: 90837)?
• How do I submit claims for reimbursement?
• How long does it typically take to receive reimbursement?

Understanding your benefits ahead of time can help you plan for care and avoid surprises. If you have questions about this process, I’m happy to help guide you.
Our first session is an intake assessment where I will ask you questions about you and your life. As your therapist, I invite you to show up as you are and with an open mind to how we can maximize our work together while I listen without judgment.
What is our first session like?
Do you accept insurance?
I am an out-of-network provider, and that is very intentional. Working with me, you will get:

1. You receive individualized, one-on-one care in every session without limits. The cost reflects the time spent on you both in and out of the therapy session as my work goes beyond traditional therapy.
2. Our work together is not limited by insurance requirements, making our work more flexible and confidential.
3. You receive care that is truly based on your needs.
Choosing to invest in private pay therapy means choosing care that is personalized, flexible, and completely centered around your well-being.

If you would like to use your out-of-network benefits, I am happy to provide a super bill for partial reimbursement at your insurance provider's discretion.
Can I use Out-of-Network Benefits?
If your insurance provides them, then absolutely! Just request a superbill and I provide them at the end of the month!
Do you offer in-person or virtual therapy?
I offer virtual therapy throughout the entire state of Texas, allowing you to save time commuting and stay in the comfort of your own home.
How do I know we are a good fit?
Our therapeutic relationship is very important, so it is a high priority to me that you feel comfortable with your therapist. This is why I invite you to schedule a free consultation call to see if we are a good match!
